Quality Control Inspection Services, Inc. (QCIS), Inc. is a professional inspection & construction management firm that specializes in construction & infrastructure inspection management services for civil & architectural infrastructure systems.

QCIS was founded in November of 2012 by Mr. Leon Edward Jones Jr. for the purpose of providing clients with accurate information regarding the construction/infrastructure engineering inspection, & management of civil & architectural infrastructure. Our strategy is dedicated to providing excellent customer service by conducting unbiased inspections & management of civil & architectural infrastructure systems at an affordable price.

QCIS is an independent minority & veteran owned small business enterprise. We are member of the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. International Code Council, American Society of Civil Engineers, Construction Management of America Association, & National Society of Professional Engineers.

QCIS's corporate office is headquartered in the historical business district of Slatington, Pennsylvania.

About Our Founder & President

Mr. Leon Edward Jones Jr. is a 17-year veteran of the US Navy where he spent time as an engineer’s aid in the Seabees. Mr. Jones is currently an active member of the Slatington #440 Masonic Lodge for free and accepted Masons, along with being a brother of Phi Eta Psi Fraternity Inc.

Mr Jones started his construction career as a rod person on a survey crew. He then moved into materials testing, where he learned how to inspect concrete & soils for strength & compaction. Mr. Jones also worked for various engineering firms to gain experience with AutoCAD & micro station for drafting & design. Mr. Jones became interested in managing projects in the private sector when he was ask to do estimating & scheduling, with the use of suretrak & micro station project management software.

With 22 years of construction experience in the private & public sectors, Mr. Jones has obtained a bachelor of science in engineering technology from Temple University in January 2008. Mr. Jones also has a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from The New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is an associate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Construction Management Association of America, & the National Society of Professional Engineers. Mr. Jones has a NICET certification for engineering technology; he currently holds a NECEPT certification as a concrete & bituminous field technician.
